I’ve since learned from photography seminars that white shirts for portraiture are to be avoided, but I like the strength with which she stands off the background and the sun is catching her hair. There’s some distracting straw and yellow leaves that in a perfect world wouldn’t have been there, but the transitional nature of the face just makes it really intriguing to me.
